SiteSnap

- Toolicon (SVG):
- Tagline: Automatic screenshots for weblinks and more, straight from the backend.
Dead links and outdated previews are a familiar headache for anyone curating links in Joomla: pages move, get replaced, or turn into a domain-parking page, and a Weblinks entry's image goes stale, gets the wrong crop, or stays empty. Checking and re-capturing everything by hand doesn't scale past a handful of links, and few site owners want something silently rewriting their content in the background. Here comes SiteSnap: it mediates automated website screenshots and dead-link detection for links pulled from pluggable sources, rendered by a headless-browser provider, always behind a human review gate before anything is written back.

eatures:
- Pull targets from Weblinks, a free URL list kept inside SiteSnap, or any future source via a simple connector interface.
- Capture a real, rendered screenshot through a headless browser, either self-hosted, browserless.io, any URL-to-image service, or a local command.
- Classify each target as alive, dead, suspect, or needing manual review.
- Reject or hide cookie/consent banners so they never show up in the screenshot.
- Stage every result as a proposal for review so nothing reaches a source without explicit approval.
- Approve, reject, re-check, or approve-and-apply proposals individually or in bulk.
- Audit the images already in place: list the entries whose current picture no longer fits the output size, aspect ratio or format (or has gone missing) and re-shoot them in bulk.
- On approval, write the screenshot straight into Weblinks' image field and unpublish dead links automatically.
- Run unattended via Joomla's Task Scheduler (sync, capture and check each on their own schedule) or trigger any step by hand.
